Indonesia’s lucrative shark trade has pushed leopard sharks to the brink of extinction.
Today, a mere 20 adults remain in the pristine waters of the Raja Ampat archipelago.
But conservationists are fighting back, breeding baby leopard sharks in captivity and releasing them into the ocean to revitalise their dwindling numbers.
