The Sudanese Army has retaken control of the Presidential Palace in Khartoum from the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. The Rapid Support Forces had seized the palace in 2023 when the battle for control of Sudan broke out. In recent weeks, the Sudanese Army has regained several areas of Khartoum and its surrounding regions.
