Rescue efforts to find anyone alive have concluded at the residential complex Wang Fuk Court, after Hong Kong’s worst fire in nearly 80 years.

Help and support came pouring in from communities across Hong Kong and beyond. Numerous supplies have been donated by local people at a designated shelter near the fire site, and many volunteers have joined the effort to distribute the items and help affected residents. Long queues formed outside a temporary body identification centre, as grieving families waited to learn the fate of their loved ones
