When asked about a 'potential annexation' of Greenland during a meeting with the Nato secretary general, Mark Rutte, Trump said he was 'sitting with a man who could be very instrumental'. Rutte responded by saying he did not 'want to drag Nato into it'. When questioned about Greenland’s recent election and whether its people would potentially have a say, Trump added that the result was very good for the US and 'the person who did the best is a very good person as far as we’re concerned'
