Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has responded strongly to Donald Trump's threat to impose a 50 percent tariff on Brazilian exports to the United States. Lula dismissed the threat, stating that Brazil won’t take orders from the US, and referred to Trump as a “gringo” – a common term in Portuguese and Spanish for a foreigner.
