Northern Gaza has been under an Israeli military siege since early October. Troops have blocked deliveries of food and aid while bombing the roughly 75,000 Palestinians who refuse to leave what remains of their homes. The UN says the siege is 'strangling' the humanitarian response to the war on Gaza.
