Hossam Shabat, a Palestinian journalist and contributor to Al Jazeera Mubasher has been killed in an Israeli air strike that targeted his car in northern Gaza.
Witnesses said Hossam’s vehicle was hit in the eastern part of Beit Lahiya. Several pedestrians were wounded.
Shabat was the second journalist killed in Gaza today. Earlier, the Israeli army killed journalist Mohammad Mansour, a correspondent for Palestine Today, in an attack targeting a house in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
Since the war started, at least 208 journalists have been killed in Israeli attacks on the enclave.
