Germany’s conservative CDU wins election, far-right AfD in second

The conservative opposition leader Friedrich Merz has won Germany's general election, but he will need to form a coalition to govern as chancellor.
Merz's conservative bloc has received around 28 percent of the vote, the largest in the German parliament.
And far-right Alternative for Germany has emerged as the second largest.
It's the best result for a far-right party there, since the World War II.
