A suspect has been arrested in connection with an attack on Colombian presidential candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay.
The senator from the opposition Democratic Center Party was shot several times at a campaign event in Bogota on Saturday.
He is in a critical condition in hospital.
Colombia is due to hold a presidential election in May next year.
