The Boeing 737-800 skidded along the runway before hitting what appeared to be a concrete barrier and bursting into flames at Muan airport in South Korea. Local authorities said the crash had probably been caused by a bird strike, which may have resulted in the landing gear failing. More than 100 family members gathered in a meeting room at the airport to receive updates about their loved ones
